The service was amazing and my waiter was on point from service to recommendations on the menu. The Diner was very clean and the food was delicious. We ordered the Pot Roast meal, Chicken Club sandwich and the tri tip sandwich. All of it was great. The only thing that was not that great was the corn bread muffin. It was too hard. But other than that I'd give it 100% recommendation to eat here. It was 3 of us and I tipped. I still didn't pay over $100. My tip was $18.25.
I ordered sausage and scrambled eggs, hash browns, English muffin and an orange juice. The hash browns and English muffin was a little over cooked, but that's easy to fix. My fault for not specifying my wants. The service was on point, staff was friendly. I took my mom out to breakfast and she had the Shasta Veggie Scramble. That looked really good. I'm going with the muffin next time. Great place to take family and friends.
I have been here many times mainly in the morning when I am craving for some breakfast. As you enter the diner, the interior has bear and zoo theme decorations. During Covid, the interior dine in was unavailable and they only had outdoor seating that was located in the parking lot. Nowdays the dine in is back open and you can enjoy without the cold weather. Their menu consists of breakfast platters, sandwiches, omelettes, drinks and much more. Everything is made to order which is always a plus for me and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. The staffs here are welcoming, well trained and understanding where I never encountered an issue during any of my visits. I recommend this place to all breakfast lovers, if you have a hungry appetite or to anyone looking for a laid back spot. I might be back in the future to tryout the other options they have to offer.
Came here the 1st time with a friend for brunch or late breakfast the other morning. The best part of this place is the bear themed decor. It is a lot of fun. I was warned by my friend that the portions are large so I might get a smaller plate. I got an egg and ham steak while my friend got what was called a volcano or a big plate. Everything was pretty good. The biscuit was tough to eat though. A very rustic atmosphere..or you feel like you are going camping. It's a casual atmosphere. Staff was friendly and efficient.
Black Bear for breakfast is the place. There is a large selection of different dishes available. Read the menu carefully. Servings are very large. It would be nice if there were a Senior discount. Black Bear Restaurant is wheelchair accessible there is plenty free parking. This restaurant is nice & quite durning the week. Weekends there is a long wait line. Great customer service though and though. Yes I will return to Black Bear.
This is my husband’s go-to spot for Country Fried Chicken—and now I get the hype. The restaurant was packed, but our server got us seated right away m. Portions here are massive, so I went with the Caesar Salad with Salmon. Husband of course ordered Country Fried Chicken. The salad? Light and crisp with the perfect amount of dressing—just how I like it. The salmon could’ve used a little more salt and pepper, but hey, it still hit the spot. As for the Country Fried Chicken? No notes. Crispy, juicy, and as dependable as ever.
